Mumbai, Dec 31: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Wednesday welcomed the Union Cabinet's approval for the six-lane greenfield Nashik-Solapur-Akkalkot corridor, saying the project, aligned with the PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan, will significantly reduce travel time, strengthen west-east connectivity, boost logistics and generate large-scale employment, thereby giving a major push to economic development.
