Amaravati lands a major scam, says Jagan
New Delhi, May 26 : Andhra Pradesh's Chief Minister designate Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on Sunday alleged that there was a big land scam in new state capital Amaravati as his predecessor N. Chandrababu Naidu had resorted to "insider trading".
Prayed to God not to give winner more than 250 seats: Jagan
New Delhi, May 26 : Andhra Pradesh's Chief Minister designate Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on Sunday said he had prayed to God not to give more than 250 Lok Sabha seats to the party taking power at the Centre so that he can make it grant special category status to the state in exchange for legislative support but unfortunately the BJP got more than 300 seats.
32pc MLAs in Andhra have serious criminal cases: ADR
New Delhi, May 26 : As many as 151 of the 174 newly-elected MLAs in the Andhra Pradesh Pradesh Assembly have declared criminal cases against them, with 55 or 32 per cent reporting "serious" criminal cases in their affidavits, according to the Andhra Pradesh Election Watch (APEW) and Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR).
