Paul Mazursky to be honored with 'Screen Laurel Award'

Washington, January 8 : Paul Mazursky will be presented the '2014 Screen Laurel Award' from the Writers Guild of America, West.

Howard A. Rodman, Wgaw vice president, has said in an official statement that Mazursky's talents as an actor and filmmaker should not be allowed to obscure a central fact that he is among one of the greatest living screenwriters, Contactmusic reported.

Rodman added that the 83-year-old filmmaker's voice is strong, unique, hilarious, wise and unmistakable.
