Riteish Deshmukh plays Ruslaan Mumtaz's guardian angel on the first day of shoot!
Isn't the big, bad Bollywood rather infamous for cutthroat competition? So it's always nice and surprising when one gets a helping hand here, especially a rank newcomer. Like Ruslaan Mumtaz did.
On Ruslaan's first day at shoot for Nikhil Advani's Jaane Kahan se Aayi Hai, Ruslaan got so nervous that he forgot his dance steps, in spite of being a trained dancer from Shiamak Davar's Group, no less! And to add to his miseries he had just recovered from a nasty fracture. Guess whom he got help from? Actor Ritiesh Deshmukh. As Ruslaan says, "Ritiesh really helped me and asked me if I wasn't comfortable with the dance steps, then he could ask the choreographers Bosco and Caeser to change them. I think it was such a nice and thoughtful gesture." What made it more meaningful was the fact that it happened on the first day when a nervous Ruslaan needed to be calmed down!
