Anil Kapoor overwhelmed by Slumdog Millionaire
Slumdog Millionaire, one of the most talked about film in international circuits starring Anil Kapoor, has released in US to a great start.
The film has generated a great buzz and is being held as a sure Oscar nominee in multiple categories. Anil Kapoor who has specially traveled to US for the release is overwhelmed with the reaction that he is getting. He has been traveling to various US cities for promotion of the film and the film is touching a chord with the mainstream audiences over there. The film also starring Irfan Khan won the People's choice award at the 33rd Toronto International festival,
The film which is a dramatic story of a slum teenager on the threshold of winning 2 crores in one of the most popular game shows, is directed by Danny Boyle. " I am amazed with the reaction of the audiences in US, I saw the film along with audiences in one of the theatres in Los Angeles and at the end of the show there was a stunned silence which then broke into an applause. After seeing this I am eagerly wanting the film to release in India." Says Anil Kapoor. The film will hit the theatres on November 28.
