Bringing CM and ministers to the ghats is a good start, but we need more. Industrial waste dumping into the river has to stop. No amount of volunteer cleaning will help if factories keep polluting it daily. That's the real challenge. 🤔

I've lived in Delhi for 5 years and this is the first big cleanup drive I've seen with government leadership. If they can get 500 organisations involved, that's impressive. Hope they also install more dustbins and public toilets along the banks.

As someone who grew up near Yamuna Bank, I've seen it go from a serene spot to a dumping ground. This is a step in the right direction, but we need regular monitoring and not just a one-day show. Also, where are the sewage treatment plants for the colonies upstream? 😕

Kudos to the CM for leading from the front! Rivers are our lifelines and we've neglected them for too long. I'll be at Kartavya Kunj Ghat with my college group on Sunday. Small steps by citizens + government = real change. Let's do this, Delhi! 💪🌊

28 ghats at once? That's ambitious. I'm curious to see if they have enough bags and gloves for all volunteers. Also, what about the religious offerings and flowers? They're a big part of the pollution too. Maybe we need separate collection bins for them.
