Maharashtra MLA demands security for MSTC employees in MP
Barwani, MP, Nov 4 : Independent legislator from Maharashtra's Dhulia, Anil Gote today alleged that the employees of Maharashtra State Transport Corporation (MSTC) were being harassed in Madhya Pradesh and demanded that state government should provide security to them.
''I talked to the BJP leaders of Maharashtra over the issue and urged them to talk to the MP government for providing security to the MSTC employees,'' Mr Gote told UNI over telephone.
Mr Gote said the bus services to Madhya Pradesh were suspended for the past few days due to the ill-treatment being meted out to the MSTC employees.
He said some unscrupulous elements in connivance with the police, had misbehaved with the MSTC employees in Indore last week, and termed the prevailing tension between the two state as ''unfortunate''. He said the innocent commuters of both the states were bearing the brunt due to the incident.
Mr Gote alleged that some vested interests were creating the problem as they were jealous about the good bus services of MSTC, and said that the Madhya Pradesh government should take initiative for resumption of bus services immediately.
