Unidentifed body recovered from Janseva Express
Saharsa, Nov 3: The body of an unidentifed youth was today recovered by the Railway police from a compartment of Janseva Express at the local station.
As the train from Amritsar was terminated at Saharsa station, the police recovered the body from the toilet of a reserved compartment.
Though there was no injury mark on the body, police suspected it to be a case of murder and lodged a case.
The body was sent for a post-mortem.
Meanwhile, in another incident in this north Bihar district headquarters, unidentifed miscreants looted Rs 2.06 lakh from a woman and fled with the booty.
The incident occurred when the woman, wife of a local businessman, withdrew the money from a bank and was on her way back to home when she was waylaid by the armed miscreants who snatched the money at gun point.
Though a case was registered in the local police station, none was arested so far, the police said.
