Chandrababu Naidu tables resolution at NDA meet to congratulate PM Modi
New Delhi, June 10
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu tabled a resolution at the meeting of NDA allies here on Wednesday, congratulating Prime Minister Narendra Modi on becoming the longest-serving continuously elected Prime Minister of India.
"It's a great honour to table before this august gathering a resolution of gratitude, a historic tribute to India's longest-serving continuously elected Prime Minister, Sri Narendra Modiji," said the national president of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP).
Naidu described PM Modi as "a right leader, at the right time, at the right place," adding that he is both an anchor and innovator, working with a single agenda of "Nation First."
He said the 21st century belongs to PM Modi, recalling his rise from Chief Minister in 2001 to nearly 25 years in public office.
"Sometimes I introspect on myself, how he can live up to the expectations of the people. That is very important. That is the leadership our Honourable Prime Minister is having," Naidu remarked.
He noted that despite global turmoil, fractured supply chains, and energy market disruptions, India has maintained inflation at around 3.5 per cent, among the lowest in major economies. "That is the leadership our Honourable Prime Minister is providing. A proven performer as Chief Minister and now as Prime Minister Narendra Modiji continues to demonstrate the same spirit, same creativity, same innovation," Naidu said.
Naidu praised PM Modi's energy and popularity, saying, "Never have I seen him tired for the last so many years. He is always energetic, and he gives energy to others. For the first time, Narendra Modi is equal to any leader in the world. All surveys indicate he is the most popular leader globally. Indians and India are well respected because of you, sir."
The Chief Minister expressed confidence that India will become the world's number one economy under PM Modi.
"Our goal is to become the number one economy globally, which is possible only through our Honourable Prime Minister. It is going to happen. This is India's defining moment, the beginning of a golden era. Our faith in his leadership is complete. Our commitment to people is unwavering. Our resolve to build Viksit Bharat by 2047 is unshakable," he added.
Janata Dal (Secular) leader and Union Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy congratulated the Prime Minister on the successful completion of 12 years of NDA governance at the Centre and on becoming India's longest-serving elected Prime Minister.
Kumaraswamy noted that under PM Modi's visionary leadership, India has witnessed transformative progress across sectors, including infrastructure, manufacturing, digital empowerment, welfare delivery, healthcare, financial inclusion, national security and global engagement.
He said the achievements of the past decade have strengthened India's economic foundations, expanded opportunities for citizens and accelerated the nation's journey towards becoming a developed country.
The Union Minister observed that PM Modi's leadership has been instrumental in driving large-scale reforms, promoting transparency and ensuring that the benefits of development reach every section of society. He further highlighted that the NDA government's focus on inclusive growth, good governance and citizen-centric policymaking has earned the trust and confidence of people across the country.
Kumaraswamy reaffirmed his commitment to working towards the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 and expressed confidence that under PM Modi's continued guidance, India will scale new heights of progress, prosperity and global leadership.
The conclave brought together NDA Chief Ministers, Deputy Chief Ministers and senior leaders from across the country to deliberate on governance, development priorities and the roadmap for India's continued growth and transformation.

As someone who has been following Indian politics from abroad, it's fascinating to see how Modi has consolidated support across such diverse regional parties. The 3.5% inflation figure is genuinely impressive when you look at what's happening in the US and Europe. I'm not Indian, but I can see why he's so popular.
"Never have I seen him tired"—that's because he doesn't do the real work, he just gives speeches! Meanwhile, farmers are protesting, unemployment is rising, and we're supposed to be happy about being the most popular leader globally? 🙄 Bhai, popularity se pet nahi bhar-ta. We need jobs, not photo-ops.
Well said, Naidu garu! 🙏 Modi ji has truly put India on the world map. From getting respect at global forums to making our digital payments world-class, the transformation is real. I'm a Telugu amma and I'm happy to see TDP and BJP working together for Andhra's development. Unity is strength!
What Naidu said about Modi being "an anchor and innovator" is actually spot on. Even critics have to admit that his leadership during COVID, the vaccine drive, and handling supply chains was decent. But let's also remember—it's the alliance politics that keeps NDA together. Everyone has their own agenda. Let's see how long this "Nation First" spirit lasts.
I'm Canadian and I visited India last year for the first time. The digital infrastructure blew my mind—UPI payments everywhere, government services online, and people
