Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Subramanian Swamy on Friday said his party should invite former IPS officer and social activist Kiran Bedi and former Army chief General VK Singh to join it. "We should invite Kiran Bedi & Gen Singh to join BJP," tweeted Swamy.

This comes after Bedi created a political storm by tweeting that she will vote for BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

"For me it's India First! Stable,Well Governed,Administered,Accountable and Inclusive.As a an independent voter,my vote is for NaMo," tweeted Bedi.

"Any one of us who wants a scam free country cannot vote back Congress!India needs stability and experienced hands to provide for all!" she posted on micro-blogging site Twitter.

"If v can as today get a stable alternative which has experience to govern and take the country forward why wld I not vote against statusquo," she said.

"What if @timesofindia had asked a Ques do u wish to see a Hung Parliament or stable one?And who do u think can provide stablity+expereince," posted Bedi.
