Lindsay Lohan wants fired lawyer back despite owing USD 300k in unpaid fees
Lindsay Lohan, who allegedly owes her former lawyer Shawn Holley 300,000 dollars in unpaid legal fees, wants him back, according to new reports.
The troubled actress has not made a payment to her criminal defence attorney in more than half a year, a source told Radar Online.
According to the insider, the troubled star hasn't paid anything for any of the work Holley has done on her three new criminal charges of lying to cops, in connection with her car accident in Santa Monica last summer, the Daily Mail reported.
Holley has kept Lohan out of jail for over five years now and she has no idea how good she has had it. Holley is extremely respected by judges and prosecutors and that has benefited the actress greatly, the source said.
The 'Mean Girls' star hired new criminal lawyer Mark Heller to replace Holley.
Meanwhile, a new report from TMZ.com claims that Lohan is telling friends that she never authorised Heller to fire Shawn Holley and never instructed him to send her a letter of termination.
But the website quotes sources close to Heller who allege that Lohan indeed signed the letter he sent to fire Holley.
The website reported that Lohan is telling friends she wants Holley back on board saying that she thinks of the attorney as a "second mother."
Lohan is said to have now instructed Heller to send Holley a second letter cancelling the first.
