651 UDAN routes operationalised nationwide, 87 routes in UP: Govt

New Delhi, Dec 18: Under the Regional Connectivity Scheme-Ude Desh ka Aam Nagrik (RCS-UDAN), 651 RCS routes have been operationalised, connecting 93 unserved and underserved airports, including 15 heliports and 2 water aerodromes (as on November 30) across the country, the Parliament was told on Thursday.

Passenger count for Vande Bharat train services surpasses 7.5 crore mark

New Delhi, Dec 16: The number of Vande Bharat services connecting major cities across India has gone up to 164 while the total number of passengers carried by these high-tech trains, since their launch in 2019, has crossed the 7.5 crore mark, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Railways on Tuesday.
