Tel Aviv, March 11: In February 2025, vehicle imports to Israel totaled 13,312 vehicles (private) compared to 15,998 in February 2024, a decrease of 16.8 per cent. Imports of commercial vehicles amounted to 737 vehicles compared to 867 in February 2024, a decrease of 15 per cent.
Israel's Tax Authority ensures Holocaust survivors receive benefits
Tel Aviv, January 27: In preparation for International Holocaust Remembrance Day on Monday, Israel's Tax Authority is publishing data about a recent pilot, in which the Authority collaborated with the Holocaust Survivors' Rights Authority, in actively reaching out to Holocaust survivors who do not exercise their entitlement to tax benefits due to a qualifying medical disability under the Nazi Persecution Disabled Persons Law or the Nazi War Disabled Persons Law, and assisting those survivors in submitting a tax refund application for previous years.
