Chennai, Dec 15: Former Tamil Nadu Health Minister and AIADMK organising secretary C. Vijayabaskar launched a sharp attack on the DMK government, accusing it of failing to fill critical vacancies in government hospitals across the state and attempting to mask what he described as a deepening crisis in the public healthcare system.

Karnataka govt launches special nutritional meal scheme at govt hospitals

Bengaluru, September 2: The Karnataka Government on Tuesday launched, for the first time, a special nutritional meal scheme for in-patients at government hospitals. Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao inaugurated the initiative at CV Raman Nagar Hospital, Bengaluru, by distributing meals to patients. The scheme has been implemented by the Department of Health and Family Welfare in collaboration with ISKCON, a release said.
