Mattar Cheese Pulao Recipe

Ingredients:

• 1 Cup Basmati Rice

• ½ Cup Green Peas

• 1 Onion

• 2 Green Chillies

• ½ Cup Grated Cheese

• 1 Bay Leaf

• 2 Cloves

• Few Pepper Corns

• 1 Inch Cinnamon Stick

• 2 Tablespoons Oil

• Salt to Taste

Method:

• Wash and soak rice in water for 30 minutes.

• Cook rice and keep it aside.

• Cook peas separately.

• Cut onion into thin long slices.

• Mince the green chillies.

• Fry cloves, bay leaf, cinnamon, green chillies, pepper corns in heated oil and sauté briefly.

• Add onions and sauté till they become pinkish brown.

• Add peas and mix well.

• Add this mixture to the cooked rice along with salt and mix well.

• Garnish with the grated cheese.
