Kashmiri Pulao Recipe

Ingredients:

• 500 Gms Basmati Rice

• 150 Gms Onions

• 5 Gms Cinnamon

• 5 Gms Cardamom

• 5 Gms Cloves

• A Pinch Of Turmeric Powder

• 1gm Saffron

• 10 Ml Milk

• 20 Gms Walnut

• 20 Gms Cashew Nut

• 1litre Water

• 50 Gms Oil

• Salt to Taste

Method:

• Wash and soak rice for 30 mins.

• Slice onions vertically.

• Fry whole spices, turmeric powder, add rice and mix well.

• Add saffron dissolved in little warm milk.

• Add hot water and salt and cook well.

• Heat oil and fry onions till golden brown and remove.

• Fry cashew nuts and walnuts in little oil.

• Garnish kashmiri pulao with fried onions, walnuts and cashew nuts.
