Cheera (Spinach) Thoran Recipe
1. Cheera leaves (Spinach) 800 gm
2. Grated coconut 1 cup
3. Onion (finely chopped) 2
4. Green chilly (finely chopped) 5
5. Turmeric powder ½ teaspoon
6. Salt As required
7. Oil 2 tablespoon
8. Mustard seed ½ teaspoon
9. Curry leaves 1 stem
Clean the spinach leaves nicely and chop finely.
Heat oil in a pan. Splutter mustard seeds.
Add chopped onion, green chilly and curry leaves and sauté well.
Add grated coconut and sauté in a low flame.
Add the spinach leaves, mix well.
Cover the pan and cook.
Stir in between.
Do not overcook.
