Masoor Dal Recipe

Ingredients:

• 2 Cups Masoor Dal

• 1½ Tsp Garam Masala

• 1½ Tsp Turmeric

• 1 Tsp Salt

• ¼ Cup Oil

• 2 Onions

• ½ Tsp Mustard Seeds

• 1 Garlic Clove

• 1" Ginger

• 4 Chilies

• 2 Tomatoes

• 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves

• Salt to Taste

Method:

• Wash and clean Masoor dal.

• Cook dal with water.

• When it is being almost cooked, garam masala, turmeric and salt.

• In a separate pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds.

• When they splutter, add onions and fry.

• Add garlic, ginger and chilies.

• Add tomatoes and cilantro and cook until tomato softens.

• Pour this mixture to masoor dal and mix well.
