Apoorva Arora revisits her 'Momacu' shoot diaries: Those difficult nights are my favourite memories
Mumbai, June 10
Actress Apoorva Arora is on cloud nine at the moment as she is receiving a lot of praise for her performance in "Momacu".
Amidst all the love and appreciation, Apoorva decided to take a trip down memory lane and look back at some unforgettable moments that shaped her journey on the project.
She admitted that bringing "Momacu" to life was not an easy journey. Apoorva shared that she came on board the project shortly after wrapping another shoot and found herself diving straight into an intense schedule in Chandigarh's biting winter.
Sharing the experience, Apoorva said, "What I remember most about 'Momacu' is not the cold, but the spirit with which everyone came to work every day. We were shooting through some really chilly nights, often for long hours, but there was so much excitement around the story that nobody let the weather dampen the mood. Looking back, those difficult nights have become some of my favourite memories from the film."
Despite joining the team at the last minute, the welcoming atmosphere on set made the transition seamless, helping her settle into the character.
"At the time, all of us were focused on telling the story as honestly as possible. You don't really think about how people will react once the film releases. That's why the appreciation feels so special now. When viewers reach out and say they loved my character, it takes me right back to those nights on set and reminds me why we do what we do," Apoorva went on to add.
Made under the direction of Kuldeep Kunal, "Momacu" starred Jatin Sarna, Tushar Dutt, Gourav Sharma, and Apoorva Arora as the primary cast.
It shares the tale of three men stealing an ATM during a freezing winter night in rural Haryana and how mistrust and chaos ends up shattering their desperate plan.

Finally an actress who talks about the hard work behind the scenes instead of just posting filtered photos! Those chilly nights in rural Haryana must have been brutal but she's right, those memories stay forever. Hope more people watch this film.
Such a refreshing take from an actress! In Bollywood we often only see the glamour but Apoorva is showing the real struggle behind a good performance. The story about stealing an ATM in winter sounds gripping too - definitely adding this to my watchlist!
I appreciate her honesty about the difficult nights being her favourite memories - that's the mark of a true artist. Working in Chandigarh's winter is no joke, I've been there and the cold gets into your bones. Respect her dedication to the craft and the story.
This is the kind of behind-the-scenes story that makes me appreciate cinema more. The fact that she joined last minute and still managed to create such a memorable performance shows her professionalism. Love the Indian cinema spirit! 🇮🇳
While I admire her dedication, I wish more attention was given to the film's story and the other cast members like Jatin Sarna who also worked hard. Still, it's good that Apoorva is getting recognition - she deserves it for her honest portrayal. Let's hope the film gets a wider release!
