Karan is Lalee's Ganeshiya
Finally Lalee will find her Ganeshiya. Karan Mehra of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame will now enter Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo as Ganeshiya.
“Ganeshiya is very soft, religious and gullible person but he finally stands for his love against all the odds. Building of his characters comes when he declares that he is married and he wants to be with his wife.” Karan briefs about his character. “This is for the first time I am donning a farmer’s look. Initially I was skeptical about it but now I feel my look blends with the show.” he adds further.
“Writer and producers of the show have been very kind to me. They have helped me in getting the accent right. I am still working on it. My lines are scripted in a way that I can make out where I have to give a stress. I have also been watching films like Ganga-Jamuna and Lagan over and over again” he shares.
Looks like after Bollywood the ‘Method Acting’ bug is now catching up fast with television actors.
Karan will enter the show in the sequence where Ganeshiya and Lalee’s younger sister are about to get married. When Lalee comes to know about this; she confronts Ganeshiya. When she realizes it is her sister who is marrying him, she tells him the truth of herself being sold to Thakurs.
