Trump Warns Iran: US Will Hit Hard Until Meaningful Nuclear Deal Is Reached

President Trump stated the US wants a meaningful and effective deal with Iran as tensions escalate. He warned that a nuclear-armed Iran would lead to Israel's destruction and destabilize the Middle East. Trump confirmed the US has resumed military strikes and will continue hitting Iran hard. He credited Pakistan for requesting a break in hostilities and noted that negotiations remain uncertain.

Trump says US wants "meaningful deal" with Iran as tensions escalate

Washington DC, June 11

President Donald Trump on Wednesday said the United States wants a "meaningful" and "effective" deal with Iran amid escalating tensions in the Middle East.

Speaking in the Oval Office, Trump said, "We have the strongest military in the world. And I gave them (Iran) a break at the request of Pakistan... We stopped them from going to war with India. You would have had a nuclear war if it weren't for me. But they became friendly to me. They're close to Iran, and they work, and they still are working on trying to get them to do what's right. But we want a deal that's meaningful. We want a deal that works."

Trump further issued a strong warning over Tehran's nuclear ambitions, claiming that a nuclear-armed Iran would lead to the destruction of Israel and destabilise the Middle East.

He also asserted that the United States had "hit them hard" and could strike again as negotiations remain uncertain.

Trump said, "If they (Iran) had a nuclear weapon, there'd be no Israel, there'd be no Middle East, and they would have absolutely shot at us. We'll see what happens. But we hit them hard yesterday. We're going to hit them again hard today. We'll see what happens with the deal."

"We were really close to a deal, but they keep tapping us along. They keep playing us for suckers because you know what? They dealt with some very stupid presidents... I'm embarrassed to say it. Some very stupid people were sitting here," he further said.

He also said that the United States would resume attacks on Iran.

Trump said, "We're going to be attacking them, attacking them very hard."

He also suggested that Iran's downing of a US Apache helicopter provided grounds for renewed military action.

"Based on the helicopter, I guess we have the right to do that," he told reporters.

Trump said the US had already launched strikes and would continue military operations against Iran.

"We hit them hard yesterday. We're going to hit them again hard today, in case you miss it, in case you don't turn on your television set, and we'll see what happens with the deal," he said.

Interesting how Trump claims Pakistan 'stopped' a war between India and Iran. Actually, India and Iran have historically had good relations - we import oil from them and have cultural ties through Chabahar port. This is just Trump's way of taking credit for something that never would have happened. Typical American arrogance.

The hypocrisy is staggering. US has attacked Iran, shot down their drone, and now Trump says 'we want a deal' while also saying 'we're hitting them again today'. This is exactly how the US operates - create chaos, then claim to be peacemakers. India should stay out of this mess and focus on our own border issues with China. 🇮🇳

Trump calling previous US presidents 'stupid' is ironic given his own chaotic foreign policy. But honestly, any deal that prevents nuclear proliferation in our neighbourhood is welcome. Iran should be reasonable - having nukes only invites more suffering for their people. Just hope India doesn't get dragged into this mess.

Trump keeps mentioning Pakistan as if they're some honest broker. Everyone knows ISI has its own agenda. India should strengthen ties with Iran directly - we need the Chabahar port for Afghanistan trade, and Iran needs our support. Let the Americans and Pakistanis play their games. We're better off building our own relationships. 💪

Respectfully, I think we need to be careful here. Trump is unpredictable - one day he's threatening war, next day he wants a deal. India should maintain strategic autonomy. We can't rely on America's whims for our national security. Our
