1963 - Bob Dylan walked out of dress rehearsals for "The Ed Sullivan Show" when CBS censors told him he could not perform "Talkin' John Birch Paranoid Blues."
1966 - Stephen Baldwin (born 12 May) 1966 - Actor ("Born on the Fourth of July"), brother of Alec Baldwin, William Baldwin and Daniel Baldwin
1968 - Jimi Hendrix was arrested for possession of hashish and heroin when he crossed the Canadian border for a concert in Toronto. He claimed the drugs were planted and he was later exonerated.
1970 - Pooja Bedi (born 12 May 1970) is a former Bollywood actress and currently a television talk show host. Pooja Bedi was born in Bombay, India to a noted Indian classical danseuse, the late Protima and an international film star, Kabir Bedi. She was brought up in a very unconventional way and was literally allowed to have her own way. She loves water sports.

1976 - Vikas Sethi (Born 12 May 1976) is an Indian actor on the hit Indian soap opera Kasautii Zindagii Kay where he plays the role of Prem. He is also currently performing on Nach Baliye along with his wife, Amita.
1975 - Mukul Dev (born 12 May) is the host of the popular international show, ‘Fear Factor’. This pilot-turned-model-turned-actor was earlier seen in films like ‘Dastak’ and ‘Ek Haseena Ek Khiladi’. Mukul was last seen on TV in ‘Kaalchakra’ on Star Plus, ‘K Street Pali Hill’ on Star Plus and ‘Kya Hadsa, Kya Haqeeqat’ on SET.
