Wisut kicked out, Sisupalan to follow
By P.S. Parameswaran, Trivandrum, Nov 20 (Indianfootball.com-IBNS): I-League side Viva Kerala to are set to send striker Wisut Bunpeng home and midfielder Patrick Raman Sisupalan is to face severe action.
Viva Kerala have confirmed that their Asian striker Wisut Bunpeng will be send home after the striker failed to recover from an injury. The 21 year old had to be replaced in the first half against Dempo SC and it's believed that the player had major injury problems before joining the club.
'He was not 100% fit before joining the club and we were ignorant about that. While playing against Dempo he was injured in the first half of the match and we had to replace him as he was struggling to even stand properly,' coach A.M. Sreedharan said to IndianFootball.com. He will be leaving to Thailand on Sunday.
The coach is also confident that once Sabeeth returns from injury the problems upfront will be sorted out. 'Sabeeth is a quality player and his presence in the team will help us. He will be joining the camp by next month and we hope to get him fit by the second phase of the league,' he added.
Meanwhile PIO Patrick Raman Sisupalan will be facing severe action from the club as he failed to attend the practice sessions of the club after arriving from Goa. It is said that the player's absence is due to the fact that the club hasn't paid his salary for the last two months.
But the club chairman Liaquat Ali has written off all these things.' We have paid the player's salary on time and in the case of Patrick he hasn't been attending the camp for so many days. Even he is not staying with the team in the camp,' he said.
