Srirama Sena protest against 'fatwa' on Vande Mataram
Gulbarga, Nov 7 : Sriram Sena, a controversial pro-Hindu outfit will launch a 'awareness campaign' against the 'fatwa' against vande mataram and the alleged 'love jihad' that lured young woman for religious conversion.
Disclosing this at a press conference Sriram Sena President Promod Muthalik said the outfit would launch the campaign, christened as "Sodari Rakshisi-Desh Ulisi (save sister, save country). As party of awareness campaign ten lakh pamphlets, CDs, one lakh booklets, stickers and books would be distributed.
Alleging that the UPA government's appeasement policy was leading to increase and spread of Islamic terror activities in the country, he said the "love jihad" was a conspiracy.
He explained 7,500 innocent Hindu young girls had been married in the state by youths from minority community and 3000 of them returned home after few months to tell their parents their horrible experience.
Taking strong exception over the issuance of "fatwa" by religious heads against reciting "vande mataram", Muthalik said "the fatwa was issued in the presence of Union Home Minister P Chidambaram in Lucknow. instead of objecting it, the minister was trying to escape from the controversy by saying that it happened when he left the venue. It is not only humiliating of the nation but also detrimental the sovereignty of India".
