Biggest game show 'Deal or No Deal' on Sun TV network

Bangalore, Nov 4 : Sun Network, one of the largest private television broadcasters in the country with 20 satellite channels in the four south Indian languages, would beam 'Deal or No Deal' rated as one of the biggest non-fiction show in the world, for its viewers on Saturdays and Sun days from November seven.

Informing this to newspersons at a press conference here today, Mr Ajay Vidyasagar, COO, Sun TV Network said the company had acquired the licence from European-based company Endemol's Television flagship show 'Deal or No Deal' which has been rated as one of the successful game shows in Television history.

He said Deal or No Deal, was brought to introduce south Indian viewers for the first time in the country by Sun Network, which was telecasting in over 73 countries and has given away over Rs 500 crore in cumulative prize money.

The new entertainment non-fiction game show would be telecast on Saturdays and Sundays from November seven in all the Sun Network's entertainment channels in three other south Indian languages of Surya, Udaya, and Gemini simultaneously.

Outlining the features of the new game show, Mr Vidyasagar said it would telecast over 26 episodes for one hour from 2030 hrs and the participating contestants could win upto Rs 50 lakh in cash.
