'Big Plot' was hatched in Pak to attack Mumbai: Nikam
Mumbai, Nov 3 : Special Public prosecutor Ujwal Nikam today said the conversation between the terrorists and their bosses in Pakistan during the 26/11 terror attack on the city has made it clear that a 'big plot' was hatched in Pakistan to attack Mumbai.
Speaking to mediapersons outside the designated court, handling the 26/11 terror attack case, Mr Nikam said the court today recorded the conversation between the terrorists in Nariman House and their bosses in Pakistan during the attack.
He said the bosses in Pakistan gave telephone number of a private television channel to the terrorists and asked them to press for their demands through media to the Indian government. The demands included reconstruction of Babri Masjid, Kashmir issue, stoppage of harassment on Phillipines by Israel and discontinuation of business relations with Israel.
He said the terrorists had also spoken to Israel's ambassador Ms Lavy at Washington, who spoke to the Indian authorities here and told the terrorists that they would talk to them within two hours.
