It's wonderful to see a story from Assam making waves globally. The animation medium has so much potential for regional narratives. I hope this encourages more investment in our local animation industry. Chyimi seems like a genuine labour of love.

Impressive credentials for a short film. Winning in Jaipur, New York, and now Athens says a lot about its universal appeal. The fact it's from a non-traditional filmmaking hub like Assam makes it even more special. I'd love to see it.

While the awards are great, I hope the film itself is accessible to audiences back home. Often, these festival darlings don't get proper distribution in India. It would be a shame if only people abroad get to appreciate Chyimi's storytelling. Still, kudos to the team.

A police commissioner making an award-winning animated film? That is one of the most unexpected and inspiring career pivots I've ever heard. It really demonstrates that creativity doesn't have a uniform. Congratulations to Dr. Mahanta and his team! 🎬✨
