Saurashtra University Registrar tests positive for H1N1
Rajkot, Oct 23 : The Saurashtra University Registrar, Gajendra Jani, tested positive for the deadly H1N1 virus, official sources said today.
The blood test report of Mr Jani, who has been admitted to the civil hospital here since the past three days with symptoms of flu, came last evening confirming that he carried the virus, the sources said.
However, his health condition was stated to be stable.
Besides Mr Jani, two more patients -- 32-year-old woman Linaben Arunbhai and Mahesh Vrajlal Desai (37) -- were earlier tested positive for the swine flu. They have been undergoing medical treatment in the civil hospital here. Their condition was stated to be stable, the sources added.
