Skiing boosts overall happiness and well-being!

Washington, December 3 : The enjoyment experienced while skiing or snowboarding is known to enhance overall happiness and provide valuable boost in pleasure and well-being.

Hyun-Woo Lee and colleagues from Yonsei University in the Republic of Korea have found that skiing and snowboarding have a positive effect on satisfaction, and such rich experiences enhance the happiness level, which can in turn lead to positive affirmations on one's health and well-being.

The researchers noted that even one-off or fewer skiing outings had a positive effect on participants.

The article was published in Springer's journal Applied Research in Quality of Life.
