70pc youngsters don't know how to sew a button!
Seven in 10 young adults, aged between 20 and 35, are clueless when it comes to using a needle and thread, a new survey has revealed.
Ignorance of tasks that would have seemed second nature to older generations extends to do it yourself (DIY) and car maintenance, the Daily Express reported.
66 percent of young adults have no idea how to put up shelves correctly, while 80 percent have never changed the oil in their vehicle.
The poll also found that 93 percent had never grown herbs, 40 percent didn't know how to fix a leaking tap and 79 percent had never serviced their car.
The survey for hardware retailers Clas Ohlson, questioned two thousand youngsters aged between 20-35.
