Kolkata, Mar 14: Keventer Group Chairman M K Jalan today said to be a successful entrepreneur, one has to be passionate of what one is doing with a unique strategy, focused goal and determination to win every battle.
In an interactive session on Entrepreneurship with the Future Managers (MBA students) of Management Education Center, Heritage Institute of Technology, Mr Jalan said Bengalis are occupying the topmost positions in top organisations around the globe.
"In today's scenario, there is no dearth of money and technology. As an entrepreneur, one has to formulate the master strategy to integrate money and technology for success through adequate profitability," said Mr Jalan, motivating the future entrepreneurs to take up the challenge.
Asked about how he balanced his professional and personal life in this hectic and stressful corporate world, Mr Jalan said one has to learn the art of detachment through continuous meditation and one should professionally manage an organisation, conquering useless emotions.
According to Mr Jalan, the most challenging work of an entrepreneur is to get things done from the people.
He also spoke about push and pull strategy which is very appropriate in the marketing scenario.
"In today's world as an individual to succeed, one should know how he or she will add value to his or her organisation which is the only way to grow in the corporate arena," said Mr Jalan to the future managers.
