Journalist Debdas Kundu passes away

Journalist Debdas Kundu, who was working for UNI for over last two decades for Balasore district, passed away at a private hospital at Cuttack today.
He was 54.
Kundu suddenly fell ill and was brought from Balasore to a private hospital at Cuttack last night.
His condition deteriorated and the end came at around 1630 hours, his family sources said.
He was a popular journalist and started his career as reporter for Balasore in Odiya daily Matrubhumi. He has also worked for Asian Age and Hindustan Times for a brief period.
Mr Kundu had floated a NGO called 'May I Help You' and was actively involved in various social activities in the district.
He is survived by his wife and a daughter.
