SP taking revenge with people by creating power crisis for not voting
Uttar Pradesh BJP today alleged that the ruling Samajwadi Party is trying to take ' revenge' with the people of the state for not voting them by throwing their areas into the power crisis.
"It is strange that suddenly power crisis loomed large in the state just on the day results were declared on May 16 which questions the biased attitude of the SP government," alleged state BJP spokesperson Vijay Bahadur Pathak here.
He said the BJP has already took cognizance of the matter and party leaders have approached the Central leaders to intervene into the issue.
The party is also slated to hold a state-wide demonstration against the power crisis on May 28.
"The SP government is not concerned with the peoples' miseries and it is their duty to provide electricity in this hot weather," he said.
Power situation in UP continued to be grim even as temperature has dropped in some places due to cloudy weather today.
Most of the cities in the state is undergoing 4 to 10 hours power cuts while the rural areas are worst affected where only of four-hour electricity has been supplying.
