As the summer holidays are soon to end, Tirumala witnessed heavy pilgrim turn out this week which reached its pinnacle in the week end.

Tirumala Tirupati Devstanams Executive Officer M G Gopal and Tirumala Joint Executive Officer KS Sreenivasa Raju inspected the serpentine queue lines along with other officials.

The EO instructed the different heads including engineering, annaprasadam, health, vigilance and other departments to be alert round the clock and see that pilgrims do not face any inconvenience. He also inspected supply food, buttermilk and water in queue lines and compartments.

Later the officials also inspected the newly introduced two line system of darshan inside sanctorum.

Over 2,000 Sri Vari Seva volunteers and nearly 500 scouts are pressed in to voluntary service to offer services to multitude of visiting pilgrims apart from the regular staff members and vigilance staff of TTD for pilgrim crowd management.
