Railways celebrates Constitution Day with preamble reading and pledge

New Delhi, Nov 26: On the occasion of Constitution Day on Wednesday, a special ceremony was organised at the Railway Board Headquarters, Rail Bhawan, New Delhi where Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Railway Board, Satish Kumar, along with senior officials and employees, recited the Preamble to the Constitution.

Varanasi, November 7: Member (Finance), Railway Board, Usha Venugopal, who was on an inspection visit to Banaras Locomotive Works (BLW) on Thursday, was deeply impressed by her inspection of the factory's various shops. RPF, NDRF and IRIDM sign MoU to strengthen railway disaster response

New Delhi, October 6: A tri-party Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed today among the Railway Protection Force (RPF), National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), and the Indian Railway Institute of Disaster Management (IRIDM), Bengaluru, at Rail Bhawan, New Delhi, according to the Ministry of Railways.

New Metro lines inaugurated in Kolkata, 9 lakh passengers to benefit

Kolkata, Aug 22: Friday was a historic day for the people of Kolkata as three new sections of Metro service were inaugurated by PM Modi in the city, which will provide great relief to lakhs of passengers. With this 14 km long extension, the Metro will now reach those areas also, where earlier it used to take 45 minutes to 1 hour to travel by road.
