Nursery admissions in Delhi private schools to start on Dec 4
New Delhi, Nov 28: The admission process for nursery classes in Delhi’s private schools will officially begin on December 4. According to the Directorate of Education (DoE), applications for Nursery, KG, and Class 1 will open simultaneously in more than 1, 700 private schools across the national Capital.

Chennai, Oct 29: Tamil Nadu has recorded a sharp increase in school dropout rates across all three key stages—primary (Classes 1–5), upper primary (6–8), and secondary (9–10)—for the academic year 2024–25, according to the latest Unified District Information System for Education Plus (UDISE+) data released by the Union Ministry of Education on Tuesday.

Chennai, October 24: For the academic year 2025-26, 7,717 schools across Tamil Nadu have registered under the Right to Education (RTE) quota.
