Moscow to spotlight BRICS cultures through documentary film night

Moscow, August 20: The All-Russian State Library for Foreign Literature named after MI Rudomino is set to transform into a hub of global storytelling as it hosts the third annual All-Russian Film Night on 23 August. The cultural showcase will feature a curated selection of documentaries from BRICS and BRICS+ nations, with films provided by the TV BRICS International Media Network, a long-standing partner of the library.

Centre opens Soil Library to boost Maharashtra farm sector; Clean Plant Lab to be set up in Pune soon

Nagpur, May 18: Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Sunday inaugurated the National Soil Spectral Library here, making Maharashtra the first state to have a soil map. The library includes data on soil pH Value, density and elemental composition collected using hyperspectral sensor technology by the National Bureau of Soil Survey and Land Use Planning here.

New Delhi, May 1: Taking help from the Parliament Secretariat, Delhi Legislative Assembly library will soon be turned into a state-of-the-art e-Library through a structured process of digitisation, leveraging advanced IT infrastructure, modern gadgets, and software solutions, Speaker Vijender Gupta said on Thursday.
