Rabi crop sowing crosses 393 lakh hectares, wheat records 16.9 pc jump

New Delhi, Dec 1: : The total area sown under rabi crops in the ongoing winter season has increased by 35.33 lakh hectares to 393.07 lakh hectares as on November 28, compared with the corresponding figure of 357.73 lakh hectares in the same period last year, data released by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare on Monday showed.
