It's heartening to see leaders participating in traditional festivals. But I hope the focus on celebrations is matched by concrete actions to support our farmers, for whom this harvest festival holds the most meaning. Their struggles with crop prices and climate change are real.

As someone living in Ahmedabad for work, experiencing Uttarayan for the first time was magical. The energy, the food (undhiyu and jalebi!), and the community feeling is something special. A beautiful festival.

Just a gentle reminder to everyone flying kites today: please be mindful of the birds and the environment. Use safe strings and try to clean up the leftover manja. Let's celebrate responsibly. Happy Sankranti!

The essence of this festival is gratitude and new beginnings. After the winter, the sun's northward journey (Uttarayan) brings hope. Perfect time to set new goals. Wishing prosperity and good health to all.
