Good to see the festival getting official recognition and support. However, I hope the focus remains on the cultural and community aspect, and not just a political photo-op. The distribution of laddoos and chikki is a nice touch though. Let's keep the spirit of Uttarayan pure and joyful for all.

The sky over Gujarat during Uttarayan is a sight to behold! Full of colours and energy. It's great that foreign kite flyers were also present – shows our culture is being shared globally. Kudos to the organizers. May the kites fly high and cut away all negativity! #Uttarayan2026

As someone visiting from abroad, I attended the festival last year and it was an incredible experience! The energy, the food (the undhiyu and chikki!), and the sheer joy on everyone's face is contagious. It's wonderful to see such vibrant traditions being celebrated with such enthusiasm. A true cultural gem of India.

The PM's message about gratitude to farmers is the real essence of Sankranti. While the kite flying is fun, let's not forget the agricultural roots of this harvest festival. Hope the prosperity we wish for reaches our annadata farmers first. Jai Kisan!
