Balakrishna, Purandhareswari unveil 'Venkatadri' audio

The audio of Nandamuri Tarakaratna starrer 'Venkatadri' was released amidst the family members of Nandamuri clan in Hyderabad recently.

Directed by V Samudra, the film is being produced by Mohanakrishna under the banner of Ramakrishna Cine Studios. Mandeep Takkar plays the female lead in the film. Balakrishna opened the first audio cassette and handed it over to Purandhareswari. Later the Union minister unveiled the audio CDs and handed over the first piece to Balakrishna. Speaking on the occasion, Balakrishna says, 'I strongly believe that good music would always remain an asset for the success of any film. When I feel stress mentally, I take solace by listening to melodious music. There are different songs in 'Venkatadri' and all are good to listen. Tarakaratna also performed well in the film. We are sure that the film would be a big hit.' Purandhareswari says, 'My father is a committed artiste. I wish my brothers and nephews would uphold the dignity and image of the late NTR.' Daggubati Venkateswara Rao says, 'Long ago, I produced a film with NTR-ANR called 'Satyam Sivam'. I personally supervised all the departments and I know everything about films. I wish the present generation would also earn name and fame like the late NT Rama Rao.' NTR's sons Mohanakrishna, Jayashankar Krishna, Harikrishna's sons Janakiram, Kalyanram, Mohan Krishna's son Tarakaratna attended the programme. Later, the producer announced that he is dedicating the film to the memory of their deceased brother Nandamuri Saikrishna. Srikant Deva scored music, while Aditya Music is marketing the audio.
