Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, Dec 1 : Six people, including a six-year-old boy and a woman, were killed and eight injured when an autorickshaw collided head-on with an APSRTC bus in this district today.
Police said the mishap occurred when the autorickshaw coming here from Amaravati collided with the bus bound to Amaravati from here.
Three people died on the spot, while the injured were taken to the Government General Hospital here where another three persons succumed. The condition of the injured was said to be stable.
Police said rash driving of the autorickshaw driver, who was also killed, caused the accident.
The deceased were identified as N Narasimha Rao (35), Immanial (40), S Radha Krishna (35), B Saramma (30), Vijay Das (6) and Auto Driver A Nagaraju (30), police added.
