Precious metals open weak
Mumbai, Nov 13 : The precious metals today opened low after two days of bouyancy, due to lack of buying enquiries with Silver losing Rupees 350 per kg in the opening and Gold easing by Rupees 155 per ten gm, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association (BBA) said.
Silver opened at Rs 27,475 per kg and Gold at Rs 16,725 per ten gm.
Similarly, in London and Asian markets, a bearish trend was seen as Gold recorded low at 1,108.10/1,108.12 per troy ounce and silver at 17.35/17.37 per troy ounce, the traders added.
Following were the opening rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg).999 grade : Rs 27,475 Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity Standard mint : Rs 16,725 Gold 99.9 purity Pure gold : Rs 16,810.
