BJP will come back in J'khand with two-thirds majority: Shahnawaz
Patna, Nov 4 : Senior BJP leader and former Union Minister Shahnawaz Hussain today claimed that the BJP would come back to power in Jharkhand with a two-thirds majority, saying it was the only party which could provide solace from corruption and fight against extremism.
Talking to newspersons here, Mr Hussain claimed that frustrated over the corruption in the government, the people of the state were mentally prepared to bring back BJP in power.
He said the RJD, Congress and JMM could not save their skin following exposure of alleged involvement of the former Chief Minister Madhu Koda and his the then Cabinet colleagues in the corruption of crores of rupees.
All the three parties had cooperated Mr Koda in collecting the black money, he charged.
The private secretary of former Jharkhand Governor Sibte Razi was also involved in corruption, he alleged.
Gauging the mood of the people, the Congress was trying to deffer the Assembly elections in Jharkhand by imposing President's Rule, he said.
Commenting on the issues of Bihar, Mr Hussain said his party would raise the issues related to the state during the winter session of Parliament commencing from November 19.
He alleged that the Congress-led UPA government at the Centre was neglecting Bihar and the people in power at the Centre were trying to defame the Nitish Kumar government in the state, which would face elections next year.
