Hyderabad gets a Fashion Week
After all the Fashion Weeks that have happened, there is one more to add to the list.
Hyderabad is also set to have a fashion week. The event will be from November 16 to November 18.
The designers participating in the event are Archana Kochhar, Deepak and Pooja Shah, Dipti Reddy, Lina Tipnis, Shaahid Amir, Soumitra Mondal, Abdul Kochhar and Swapnil Shinde. Designer Swapnil Shinde is excited about the event and sees it as an opportunity for fashion to spread in Hyderabad. The show’s director, Lovell Prabhu, stated that the show was being planned for around a year but due to some reasons like Chief Minister Reddy’s sudden demise and to not clash with the other fashion weeks, they decided to wait a little. The fashion week will be very local with the designers showcasing their designs of the Fall/Festive season. While they have managed to gather two international buyers, most of them will be local buyers. Some stars from Bollywood as well as Tollywood are expected to be showstoppers in the fashion week.
