Serial killer interrogated
Mysore, Nov 2 : Police took serial killer, Mohan Kumar who confessed to the murder of 20 girls, to Kushalanagar in Kodagu district and subjected him to severe interrogation.
A Police team led by Puttur ASP Chandragupta took the accused to KSRTC suburban bus stand and several lodges surrounding it. They gathered information regarding the rape and murder of women he had committed in the city over the past six years.
The interrogation confimed that the accused was involved in the murder of six women. Although he was suspected to be involved in three more murders, no clues were presently available.
Mohan Kumar, who confessed to have commited several rape and murders by poisoning his victims, showed the spots where he had committed the crimes.
Meanwhile, the police decided to bring the accused here again if necessary, police added.
As exact records were not available in some of the lodges, the Lashkar Police have decided to gather the records again and verify them.
