Stating that the progress and future of any PSU depended on able leadership, Mr Bhardwaj said, 'Selection of an able leader that takes the Company forward and proper procedures will bring in greater transparency.' He said India was inching closer towards developed economy and 'you may find one or two spoiling the show through corrupt deeds.
However, Vigilance Departments are playing a great role in tackling them.' The Governor also released the revised Vigilance Manual of HAL, comprising four volumes on the occasion.
HAL Chairman Ashok Nayak informed that the company had adopted Integrity Pact, which envisages an agreement between prospective vendor/bidder and the buyer for fair practices.
