Sad news indeed. Seven lives lost in a moment of negligence on the road. The bus driver's failure to maintain distance is criminal. I hope the victim's families get proper compensation from both the UAE authorities and our government. Minister Ponnam is doing the right thing by stepping in quickly.
This is a terrible tragedy. As someone from a small town, I know how much these workers sacrifice. They leave behind their families for months at a time, only to face such dangers. I'm glad the Indian consulate is coordinating with local authorities. Prayers for the injured and the departed souls. 🙏
Heartbreaking. I've travelled to Dubai for work and the roads can be chaotic. But this sounds like sheer negligence from the driver. My condolences to the families of Syed Saleem, Abdul Rafiq and Golapalli Tirupati. The least our government can do is ensure the bodies are brought back quickly and families get proper compensation.
This is very sad. But I also think our workers need better training and awareness about safety abroad. Many go without knowing their rights or basic safety protocols. The government should set up pre-departure orientation programs for workers heading to Gulf countries. Rest in peace to the departed souls.
As someone from Telangana, this hits home. Jagtial is a small district and losing three men from there is devastating for the community. I appreciate Minister Ponnam's swift action, but I hope this isn't just a photo op. The real support will be measured by how well these families are taken care of in the months ahead.
