Pazhassi Raja postponed to Nov 13
Malayalam Superstar Mammooty-Sarath Kumar starrer 'Pazhassi Raja' witnessed a very big opening at Kerala box office.
With a grand release across 125 Screens, the film collected Rs. 2.75Crores for the first weekend.
Producers of this film made an official confirmation about releasing the Tamil version on November 6. As well, they screened the film for Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi and bagged his appreciations for having made a prodigious film. Now, the film’s release date has been postponed to November 13. When approached the closer sources, they had two reasons mentioned for the release.
With 3 films (Adhey Neram Adhey Nimidam, Thambivudayan, Saa Boo Thri) hitting screens on Nov 6, theatres weren’t available for the release. As well, Sarath Kumar has been trying his best over getting tax rebate for this film.
‘Pazhassi Raja’ will have no contenders at box office as it will be the only release on the 2nd Friday of November.
