Southern Railway cancels trains due to burst of over head water pipe line

Chennai, Oct 23 : Southern Railway (SR) today cancelled many trains due to falling of over head water pipe line at Kalyan, which has blocked four major railway lines.

According to a release here, the cancelled trains were the Mumbai Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Mangalore Express (2619), scheduled to leave on October 23, Mangalore-Mumbai Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express (2620), scheduled to leave on October 24, Mumbai CST-Kanyakumari Express (6381), scheduled to leave on October 23, Kanyakumari-Mumbai CST Express (6382), scheduled to leave on October 26, Dadar-Chennai Egmore Express (2163), sheduled to leave on October 23, Chennai Egmore-Salem Express (1063), scheduled to leave on October 24, Salem-Chennai Egmore Express (1064), scheduled to leave on October 25, and Chennai Egmore-Dadar Express (2164), scheduled to leave on October 26.

However, the Chennai Central-Mumbai CST Express (1042), which had left Chennai Central on October 22, was short terminated at Kalyan.

The Mumbai CST-Chennai Central Express (1041), scheduled to leave on October 23, would leave from Kalyan.

The Thiruvananthapuram-Mumbai Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Netravathi Express (6346), which had left Thiruvananthapuram on October 22, was short terminated at Panvel.

The Mumbai LokmanyaTilak Terminus-Thiruvananthapuram Nethravathi Express (6345), will be started from Panvel on October 23.

The Nagercoil-Mumbai CST Express (6352), which had left Nagercoil was short terminated at Pune.

The Mumbai CST-Nagercoil Express (6339), would be started from Pune on October 23.

The Kochuveli-Mumbai Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Garibrath Express (2202), which had left Kochuveli on October 22 was short terminated at Panvel.

The Mumbai Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Kochuveli Garibrath Express (2201), would be started from Panvel on October 23.
